Twin share bookings must be organised by the guests (with their own friend), you will not be paired up with another individual requesting twin share. No more than two people can share a room.

Anything additional to this, is to be covered at the guests own expense. This includes (but is not limited to) the following:

FLIGHTS to and from Bali (Denpasar international airport).

TRAVEL INSURANCE - this is compulsory, with details to be provided to Flat Out Mum Retreats asap after booking.

Alcoholic drinks outside of the welcome night function.

Additional meals & transport outside the Villa / Retreat schedule during free time

Activities not within the Retreat Inclusions.

All elements included in the Retreat itinerary are not compulsory, but refunds will not be given if individual guests choose not to participate in any of the activities planned. If you personally choose not to attend any component of the Retreat included in the package price (beauty treatments, yoga sessions, daily breakfast, lunches and/or dinners included in the Villa etc) you can not be refunded that portion of the costs.

Arriving in Denpasar Bali on your pre-booked flight is your responsibility. No responsibility will be taken by either Bali Family Villas or Flat Out Mum for missed or delayed flights. We will do our best to accommodate travel changes but you can not be refunded time that was missed on the Retreat, nor can your stay be extended at no extra charge.

Flight itineraries must be provided to Flat Out Mum Retreats as soon as possible after booking to confirm attendance and organise transfers with a private car and driver (this is included in the Retreat cost).

Flat Out Mum Retreats are for Mothers of school aged children and younger.

If you wish to extend your stay in Bali beyond the 4 nights included in the Flat Out Mum Retreat, Bali Family Villas can help you find suitable accommodation and transfers. It is strongly advised to arrive at least a day or two prior to Retreat commencing.

Please note that 'Flat Out Mum Retreats' has partnered with 'Bali Family Villa's' to host a retreat in Bali, Indonesia. Bali Family Villa's is part of the Indonesian company PT JIWA BALI VILLAS and as guests to Bali we agree to the Terms & Conditions as outlined by Bali Family Villa's and applicable to Indonesian regulation. By taking part in the Flat Out Mum Retreat you agree to the PT JIWA BALI VILLAS Terms & Conditions of stay.

Please note you will stay at the Retreat property at your own risk, however all measures are taken by management to prevent any problems during your stay. Bali Family Villa's is a booking agency and under no circumstance can be held responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly due to your stay in a private villa or hotel that they represent. Flat Out Mum is the facilitator of the Retreat and likewise, under no circumstance can be held responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly due to your stay in a private villa or hotel that they represent.

Cancellations and Booking Changes

Guest reservation and payments for the Flat Out Mum Bali Retreat are non refundable after 15/07/24. After said date, we will do our best to replace your reservation with a new guest, and if successful in replacing your reservation, we will refund you in full. If after booking, you can no longer attend, you can transfer your booking to a friend. This must be done with permission from Flat Out Mum Retreats in writing a minimum of 7 days prior to the start of the Retreat.

Should a total cancellation of the Retreat BY Flat Out Mum or Bali Family Villas be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather or geographic events, security threats, or other as recommended by the Australian Government) all guests will be subject to the booking conditions.

Acceptance of any change is subject to approval by Bali Family Villas and the Villa owner.

IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOUR OWN PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE YOU CHOOSE WILL COVER YOU FOR ALL FINANCIAL (AND/OR OTHER) LOSSES INCURRED DUE TO A CANCELLATION OF THE RETREAT.
Inclusions

All Villa rates are inclusive of the salaries of permanent household staff, cost of electricity, drinking water, cleaning & gardening supplies, launder of linens and towels, local taxes and basic bathroom and kitchen amenities unless otherwise stated.

Formal Complaints

If guests in the private rental property or hotel encounter any challenge or problem that they consider as reason for a formal complaint, the matter should first be taken up with the Villa management. If a satisfactory solution can not be found, the client should then report to the booking agent (Bali Family Villas). No liability shall arise beyond the refund of the monies paid. Bali Family Villas will not honour complaints from a client upon departure of the accommodation.

Insurance

All guests of the Flat Out Mum Retreat MUST have comprehensive travel insurance, for the unlikely event of an illness, accident, loss of personal items and other travel contingencies during their travel or stay in Bali. Please note you can purchase travel insurance through our web site and partners at World Nomads. Bali Family Villa's or you may make your own arrangements. Please choose carefully and pay for your own travel insurance as soon as possible after successfully booking your Retreat. A copy of your Travel Insurance Cover is required by Flat Out Mum Retreats.
Liability

Bali Family Villa's does their best to represent properties they believe to be professionally managed. However guests stay at their own risk. Bali Family Villas acts only as an agent for the villa owners, suppliers and/or contractors who are providing the accommodation, transport and services. Under no circumstances shall Bali Family Villa's be held responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, however caused or incurred, whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodation. This includes any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s), or change(s) in the provision of services or land accommodation arranged by Bali Family Villa's or by reason military action, revolution or “acts of God”, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services or accommodations herein or as substituted.

No responsibility can be taken for failure of machinery, electrical fault or equipment in the villa, but the management and Bali Family Villa's will aim to assist the customers in the best way possible and have any such problems rectified as quickly as possible. Bali Family Villa's does not accept responsibility for any events that are not in their control, such as fire, severe weather, illness, injury, theft, and power disruptions. If any accommodations and/or services are substituted, Bali Family Villa's at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations and/or services comparable to those originally contracted. Bali Family Villa's at their sole and unfettered discretion reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person(s) and/or to second any contract for accommodations or guests services.
Regulations

All guests are required to comply with local Indonesian laws and regulations. A copy of all guests passport may be required at check-in for police registration and only registered guests can stay in the Villa. This is a standard regulation imposed by local authorities. No drugs or any illegal activities are permitted on the premises. Guests must show consideration regarding noise levels and to respect the privacy of other guests and neighbours. Any cost of dealing with police or other authorities is the responsibility of the customer. All Villas have noise restrictions in place. Please note that excessive noise (music or other) after 10pm is not permitted and guests that do not adhere to this policy may be requested to leave the premises.
Visas and Passports

Upon booking, guest must check if you require a Visa on Arrival for Indonesia. Australian Passport Holders have recently been granted a free 30 Day Tourist Visas to Bali, however this may change in future. Australians can proceed directly to the immigration counter on arrival.

Some non Indonesian travellers require a tourist visa to stay in Bali. It depends which passport you hold. If so you must purchase a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at the airport in Bali. The current cost is US$35 per person for a 30 day tourist visa, payable in US dollars or Indonesian Rupiah. You can also pay in other common currency, however the airport will decide the exchange rate. At this time credit card payment is not available.

Please ensure your passport has a minimum of 6 months before expiry, if not you will not be allowed International travel. In addition, you must have at least one totally clear page for the visa sticker. You will also need proof of a round-trip-ticket that shows you have a flight to exit Indonesia. (Departure Tax is paid as part of your airline ticket).
Alcohol Allowance

Visitors to Indonesia are permitted to bring 1 litre of alcohol into the country per adult visitor. Due to Government taxes Alcohol purchased within Indonesia is up to 50% more expensive than in Australia and there is also a limited selection. If you would like to enjoy the wine, champagne or spirit of your choice during your stay, we recommend bringing a bottle with you.
